Anniversary Trail Party on Carquinez Strait Loop - Oct 3, 2009

Realizing a vision of connected trails –
Celebrate the Ridge Trail and Bay Trail’s 20th anniversaries and East Bay Regional Park District’s 75th anniversary.

Come out to Nejedly Staging Area in Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline and enjoy beautiful little-known trails and parks and learn about the 50-mile Carqinez Strait Scenic Loop Trail now taking shape around the Carquinez Strait. Great trails are already open to experience, and we’re working to connect up even more.

The day will kick off with a ceremonial welcome at Nejedly Staging Area by State and local leaders and park and open space champions, followed
by a host of fun activities including hikes, cycling, equestrian rides, and family-friendly tours, such as a birding walk in Martinez Regional Shoreline.

Refreshments will be served.
